Sellers use the Cost Simulator to determine the cost of an operation and how much they should charge to achieve a specific revenue per product. Based on UX Metrics research for the tool and feedback received from the CX team, several opportunities to improve the user experience were identified.
I was involved in the project from concept to final delivery, contributing to user journey mapping, information architecture, flow design, and prototyping.
The project began with a research and discovery phase, where we benchmarked similar platforms, reviewed internal data, and conducted guerrilla research. We went into the field to talk to sellers about their daily routines and identify behavioral patterns. These key takeaways were essential in guiding our strategy, focusing on a solution centered around understanding how to use the card machine (POS terminal).
With the launch of the new Lite version, the calculation process has become significantly simpler and more intuitive. Now, the simulation data directly matches actual sales, ensuring greater accuracy and alignment in sellers' daily routines. To make their day-to-day even more efficient and navigation clearer, we display only the most essential values—allowing for quick, hassle-free decision-making.
